Feminism is the radical notion that women are people. Our thoughts, ideas, analyses, achievements should be seen as part of the collective, not separate.
I have not read or heard the same toxic people as the author but no modern feminism seeks revenge as it is a philosophy. Interesting enough, greene’s 48 laws can be seen to be part of toxicity- whatever gender.
I have been a trial lawyer over 35 years. The goal of obliterating your enemy is insane fear based thinking. I enforce the law. Others try to keep me from it to protect those they represent. Judges are a whole different issue. You have many misconceptions here among your interesting takes. For example, you speak of things being equal on paper for black men yet you say the 19 th amendment only gave voting rights to white women. That is a myth you perpetuate. Why? Why put white and black women against each other when both were declared equal to vote and black men got the vote before any women even as we know that was on paper since white men did and still do try to impact that right negatively. Ah- but not most white men.
This is complicated and your views seem shaped by what you read, true of all of us. Tolle is as wise as they come and we all need to heal our pain bodies. The power of now was pivotal in my own healing when my husband died. Greene on the other hand, did not resonate with me when I read that book and you have shown me why- it’s part of toxic masculinity to crush our opponents who must be enemies.
I feel pretty feminine and have not lost my femininity even in my sixties but when I was 12 years old in a situation, there was no other man to step up to protect me. so get real on your advise to women on how to be safe from rapists- mace might work better than turning on our charm. I know no women who are clinging to hate, so my advise to you is to read in better circles.
