I have two lady lawyer friends who I view as often being rude to restaurant staff but they are good people who do so much good for the world. Be careful with snap judgments and everyone has a rough day every now and then. These helper folks just don’t make these ladies’ radar as they do for me but I always want to influence positively and I know how hard it is to wait tables. I want to encourage people in transition and my friends want to visit with me, not my new waitress friend studying botany. Good tips but not universally applicable. You could also add that people who cover or touch their mouths while they talk to you are likely hiding or lying. Or maybe they have a cold sore. Ha. Thanks for writing.
