Really good. One extra word (can) in one of your quotes but really thoughtful and wise. I agree we should learn from the wise ones like Mariane Williamson and Eckert Tolle. The Power of Now on CDs got me through the grieving process from the death of my husband of 31 years better than most things I tried. Yet we cannot relinguish our own responsibility for our own thoughts and then actions ven as the wise ones help our ability to respond be more spiritual and helpful to others.

In 1979, I noticed this quote on a building in DC when I was protesting (with NORML) at 17 years old: “Vigilance is the eternal price of liberty” . As a political scientist and sometimes news addict, I live by this theme yet it is wise for spitirual and all growth. I believe the fountain of youth is monitoring and vigilance keeps us monitoring- not on our tiptoes to see the future. ha. I appreciate your views and enjoyed this article very much.

I have also been meditating a long time- first with TM that I learned right before law school and then Holosync over the last four years. Of course acknowledging, grateful, positive prayer is a form of meditation. Grace is mental lovliness.

Thanks for the read.
