One by One

the Measure Goes:

The More One Listens

the More One Knows.

The More One Loves

the More One Grows.

Spiritual Discernment

Defeats All Foes.

******************

Seekers are Finders

You Darling Soul;

Imparting Good

Your High Stakes Role.

Enjoy the Work

to Attain the Goal.

Connecting to Others

We Realize the Whole.

****************

Whole and one

in the Thought of God.

We Take the Path

the Master Trod.

Love revealing its

healing rod.

No Hidden sin;

No Firing Squad.

************

Seeing No Enemy;

Seeing No Poor;

Thieves of Joy

Not Entering Our Door;

Feeling Truth’s Code

Deep in our Core;

Knowing Thought Rules

We’re Free to Soar.

About this Poem. Sometime ago- 15 years ago maybe, I wrote the first and last verse of this poem on a small sheet of pink paper while sitting in church one Sunday listening to the lesson that day. I loved church and am sorry we had to close our branch in Fairview Heights, Illinois. Today I found the poem again in a drawer and read it to Reverend Annie P. Clark who asked me to type it and send it to her. That led to an expansion of ideas and editing of the last verse while typing. I am grateful for Zoom church once a month even if only three of us showed up today! I am grateful that we heal when we get our oneness and that makes us whole!
