Thanks for this insightful article on one of my ultimate heros. In the past, I have represented pro bono the Center for Spirituality and Sustainability at the Buckminster Fuller Dome at SIU in Edwardsville, Illinois. I actually met Professor Fuller at my mother’s college graduation where he was the long winded speaker at Sauk Valley College, Dixon Illinois in 1970.

I also talked with Alegra at a tour of domes in our area last fall and more recently when she came for the dedication of a gallery of Bucky’s work. So exciting to have this resource in my community. Interestingly enough, just sunday I visited the Unitarian church in St. Louis where they brag of his father preaching there. So cool to have these connections to such a great mind who continues to influence progression. Our dome is full of people working to make his legacy a reality including Benjamin Lowder. You can find them on line including about art celebrating the 92nd meridian, where the dome is on the dymaxion map.

I loved the way you honor him here by giving us some of his great insights to apply to our work. Thanks so much.
