This was quite thought provoking, reminding me of my political philosophy and philosophy of law under graduate classes. I don’t feel closer to any answer from the reading but it took awhile to read as I was thinking a lot.

I believe metaphysical evil is non- existent and is an oxymoron. Obvious to me where I would suggest that this whole discussion may be enlightened by looking at absolute versus relative. Some inconsistencies evaporate when we understand that we are in the relative world (held together with concepts expressed in language and man’s laws as well as trying to understand nature) while God is an absolute concept of pure science (expressed and interpreted as truth and love) including science we don’t universally understand.
